Clinics

Antenatal clinic - now run within the community.  Please ask receptionist for further information.

Chronic illness clinics (Asthma, Diabetes etc.) – by invitation; we encourage our patients to make full use of these clinics when they are available.

Child Health and Immunisations - all new babies are invited for regular check-ups from eight weeks old.  There is no set clinic for this as the surgery tries to be flexible for working mums.

Joint Injection - Dr Agrawal, every Tuesday and Thursday– see receptionists for appointment.

 

Health checks

A general health check are available as follows:

NHS Health check

  • aged 40-74 (no other conditions, every 5 years)
  • Well Woman
  • Well Man
  • aged 75 and over (who has not seen a GP in the last year)

General checks will be carried out as follows:

Blood pressure, blood tests (as appropriate), Height and Weight, Lifestyle advice, Tetanus status.

Non-NHS Services

From time to time patients request medical reports, or insurance claim forms etc to be completed by the doctor.  This is not covered by the NHS and therefore a fee will be charged for this service.  A list of prices is available on request. 

Where possible a fee will be agreed with the patient prior to any work being carried out that is not covered by the NHS. This work can take up to two weeks to be completed and the practice secretary will contact you once it has been completed/ready to collect.

Travel Vaccinations

If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.
